Custom home design & build — questions answered.

What is your minimum project size for a custom build?+

Custom homes typically start at AUD $1.2M ex GST for completed construction, on a serviced lot in metropolitan Perth. Smaller, more compact briefs are considered case by case.

Do you work with my architect, or yours?+

Both. We have a small in-house architectural team for clients who want a single contract, and we partner regularly with WA studios such as Studio Casaforma and Atelier Rovere for clients who already have a designer.

How is the build priced?+

After documentation we commit to a fixed-price construction contract. Variations are only triggered by client-requested change or unforeseen ground conditions — and are quoted in writing before any work begins.

What sustainability features are standard?+

Passive solar orientation, double-glazing, full-perimeter insulation, electric-only services and PV-ready roofing are standard on every custom build. Solar-thermal hot water, EV charging and battery storage are common upgrades.

Where do you build?+

Across the Perth metropolitan area, the southwest and regional WA. We also take select interstate and overseas custom commissions.

How involved will I be during construction?+

As much as you want. Most clients prefer weekly written reporting, fortnightly site visits and a single point of contact. Senior team access is open 24/7 for the duration of the build.
